Vietnamese Vegetarian Dumplings recipe

Hi everyone, Vietnamese Recipes Vegetarian today is Vegetarian Dumplings. As you may know, normal Dumplings are a cake with meat filling inside. Besides Vegetarian Dumplings is a cake with fillings inside, but the difference is the filling of vegetarian Dumplings just have the mixture of many kinds of vegetables.

For those who interested in vegetarian foods, from many Vietnamese Recipes Vegetarian, today I will show you how to cook Vegetarian Dumplings. So, follow this instruction below.

Ingredients:

1 pack of 400g dumplings flour
2 tablespoon flour
200g fresh milk
50g Vegetable cabbage
1 tuber Onion
Vermicelli, mushroom, shiitake
Fish sauce, salt, sugar, starch, monosodium glutamate, pepper, cooking oil and yeast.

Process:

Step 1: Make the crust:

-Add 2 tablespoons sugar + dry yeast on 200g milk, stir them.
-Mix 2 tablespoons flour with 400g flour dumplings, and then pour the mixture sugar water + yeast + milk  on powder. Add a little warm water, stuffed both hands for about 10 minutes.
-When the powder is mixed well, add a tablespoon of oil, stuffed them are about 10 minutes. Notice that flour dumplings have salt already, if you want to eat more salt, add a little salt)
-Incubate flour in 1 – 1.5 hours. Flour will expand more than before.

Step 2: Make the filling: this is the most important part, so you should pay attention when cooking one of amazing Vietnamese Recipes Vegetarian.

If you love corn, you can add into mixture
 

-Vegetables, onions, green onions, chopped them.
-Soak mushrooms in water to hatch, washed, and chopped them.
-Soak Vermicelli in water until soft, slice about 1cm.
-Mix mushrooms, vermicelli, vegetables with a little fish sauce, seasoning, soup, pepper.
 
Step 3: Make the cover

 

-Divided the filling into 10 pieces
-Flattening each piece of dough
-Place a piece of filling in the middle. Packing them into dumplings, place the finished dumplings on paper lined.
-Continuing until the end of the cover and filling.

 

Step 4: Steamed Dumplings:

-Arrange vegetarian dumplings in the autoclave. Add plenty of water to the pot, add 2 tablespoons of vinegar to the water, it will make dumplings brighter.
-Steam dumplings about 10 minutes, then pick up the lid, clean water on the lid and then cover again and steam for about 10 more minutes to finish cooking.
