Ingredients:

2 – 3 big chicken thighs
Honey oyster oil, multi flavor flour (Ngũ Vị Hương) – Buy at Vietnamese Markets
Sugar, purple onion, fish sauce and salt.

Process:

Step 1: Clean well chicken thighs. Use knife to cut gently some lines on its skin.

Step 2: Marinate chicken thighs with 1 teaspoon multi flavor four, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons fish sauce and sliced purple onion. Mix well and wait in 30 – 45 minutes. Here is the first step to create the flavor for one of stunning Vietnamese Chicken Recipes.

Step 3: Heat the oil (4- 5 teaspoons) , add chicken thighs into pan and fry until their faces turn brown yellow.

Step 4: Put chicken thighs on plate. Reduce the oil into pan, pour it into bowl. Next, add more 2 teaspoons fish sauce into pan + 1 teaspoon sugar + 1 teaspoons oyster and a little hot water, cook with small heat about 5 minutes.

Step 5: Continue to add more fried chicken thighs in step 4 into pan, cover carefully and cook until chicken thighs absorb all spices. If water is nearly ran out, our more hot water into pan. Cook about 15 – 20 minutes, season again to suit your flavor.
